Group Rate Details

We have secured a group rate of $246 per room, per night (single/double occupancy), plus state and local taxes. The daily resort fee for WIC attendees is $50 per room, per night, plus tax.

Resort Fee Includes:

• Entrance to Coqui Water Park
• Transportation to and from the resort's private island, Palomino Island
• Daily basic internet access in guestrooms and public areas
• In-room bottled water

Booking & Cancellation

Attendees are responsible for making their own hotel reservations. The deadline for reserving rooms is Friday, March 27, 2026.

Please reserve your guestroom via this reservation link or by calling the resort directly at +1 (787) 863-1000 ext. 7354 and reference the group rate for Wood Industry Association.

Reservations must be guaranteed with a valid major credit card, and the hotel will charge a deposit equivalent to one night's room and tax at the time of booking. Cancellations up to seventy-two hours (72) prior to arrival will receive a full refund. Deposits are non-refundable within 72 hours of arrival.

Helpful Travel Info

The El Conquistador Resort is located in Fajardo on the east coast of Puerto Rico. The closest airport will be Luis Munoz Marin International (SJU), which is approximately 35 miles (55 km) and will take about an hour to reach by car.

Ground Transportation

If you have traveled to Puerto Rico before, you probably recall that the post-Customs arrivals area can be fairly hectic with regard to finding ground transportation. The El Conquistador Resort recommends pre-arranging ground transportation through their preferred partners at First Class Destination Solutions. They offer shared shuttle services as well as private transfers.

If you do not pre-arrange transportation, taxi service is also available from the airport. At this time, the only company offering ride-sharing services in Puerto Rico is Uber. Be sure to look for designated pick-up areas for Uber passengers upon arrival at Luis Munoz Marin International Airport.
